ECA is inviting ambitious young professionals from across its Member Clubs to apply for the third edition of the ECA Club Talent & Mentoring Programme (CTMP) – a unique initiative designed to shape the next generation of football leaders.

Since its launch in 2022, the ECA CTMP has become a key part of ECA’s commitment to developing club professionals by providing them with the knowledge, skills and network essential for stepping into and thriving in future leadership roles in football.

This tailor-made learning experience, delivered in collaboration with Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE), combines expert-led sessions, hands-on projects and exclusive mentorship from experienced club executives.

The ECA CTMP offers a unique opportunity to gain exclusive insights into what it takes to run a successful football club. Participants will develop essential leadership and strategic skills for career progression while expanding their professional network. A key highlight of the programme is the 12-month mentorship scheme, which pairs participants with experienced club executives, providing invaluable guidance and industry connections.

Who Should Apply?

The programme is designed for early-career professionals (1–5 years of experience) who:

  • Hold a manager-level (or equivalent) role at an ECA Member Club.
  • Work in a generalist or specialist position.
  • Have ambitions to progress into leadership roles.

Programme Format & Key Dates

  • In-person learning week: 23–27 June 2025 (Carcavelos, near Lisbon, Portugal).
  • Three 2-hour online sessions to provide foundational knowledge.
  • 12-month mentorship scheme, pairing participants with experienced football executives.
