ECA News
On the occasion of the 17th General Assembly in Geneva on 6 September, the European Club Association has published the 6th Edition of the ECA Legal Bulletin.
The first issue of the ECA Legal Bulletin was launched back in 2011 with the aim to provide ECA Member Clubs with practical information relating to the most important decisions and tendencies in the world of sports law.
As the football business continues to develop rapidly, it is important for club lawyers to stay up-to-date with recent jurisprudence and procedural rules of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), UEFA and FIFA. The ECA Legal Bulletin also gives practical answers to frequently asked questions on regulatory and legal matters.
Amongst others, the latest issue contains a full analysis of the concept of solidarity contribution payments relating to the transfer of a player as well as case summaries of some of the most interesting decisions rendered by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) over the course of the 2015/16 season.
