Fourth edition of the ECA Club Management Programme kicks-off in Paris
The fourth edition of ECA’s Club Management Programme (CMP) for Member club senior executives officially kicked-off today at the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris, France.
First launched in 2016, the CMP is a 13-month executive education programme that offers senior club executives a unique opportunity to diversify and enhance even further their knowledge, skills, and insight into the ever-changing environment of today’s European club football landscape.
CMP 4 will see the participants visit iconic locations and stadiums in Europe and the USA, in line with the revision of the course’s content to cater for learnings from beyond the football sector by including key figures from other industries into the prominent line-up of speakers.
The module in Paris, from 1-3 June, is the first of five modules and is focused on Strategy, Leadership & Innovation. It includes keynote presentations from Ian Richardson, Director of Executive Education, Stockholm Business School, Ferran Soriano, CEO of City Football Group and Rahim Attaba, Vice-President Marketing at ‘The Sandbox’.
The second module takes place online at the start of the new European club season in September and will focus on football club operations.
Module three in November will be in Los Angeles, USA, and not surprisingly given the proximity to Silicon Valley, is built around the theme of technological trends in club football.
In March 2023, module four in Stockholm, Sweden, will be hosted by CMP’s educational partner, Stockholm Business School, and will tackle the theme of social trends in club football.
The line-up is completed by a fifth and final module in June 2023, on the theme of the future of European football and with a graduation ceremony in Nyon, Switzerland.

The CMP is the flagship of the ECA Campus, ECA’s educational and knowledge sharing platform for member clubs. It is an exclusive senior executive programme designed to deepen strategic and operational knowledge and individual leaderships skills, as well as offer participants the chance to build a precious network with peers from the industry across Europe.
