A call has gone out to more than 700 members of the European Club Association to join the 31st ECA General Assembly in Athens, Greece on 8-10 October.
The ground-breaking gathering promises to be ECA’s biggest ever General Assembly and Europe’s largest club football conference this year.
The two-day event will feature top speakers, subdivision and plenary sessions, networking opportunities and the official Awards Ceremony as ECA celebrates an incredible year of change and growth.
Charlie Marshall, ECA CEO, said: “Since we met in Berlin last year, we have seen our membership more than double to over 700 – a remarkable period of growth and testament to the increasing diversity and inclusion of today’s ECA.
“We have also expanded our stakeholder relationships, solidifying our partnerships in European and global football to safeguard and promote clubs' interests in the decision-making processes of governing bodies and competition organisers, ensuring that clubs are at the Heart of Football.”
On Wednesday 9 October, the ECA General Assembly will feature the ECA Football Leaders Forum, the official ECA Awards Ceremony and a Q&A with former Football Players.
The following day, Thursday 10 October, will feature a plenary session followed by a press conference with the ECA Chairman and ECA Vice-Chairs.
Charlie Marshall added: “With more than 700 members, ECA is truly representative of Europe’s clubs and this is an opportunity to celebrate our unity and diversity and to plan for the future together with our members.”
