ECA’s Executive Committee focuses on football competitions, players and climate action

The ECA Executive Board will hold its first meeting of the year on 29-30 January 2019, in Lisbon.
The Board, which is composed of 15 members and 4 observing subdivision representatives from different ECA Ordinary Member Clubs, meets regularly to discuss issues relating to the future of European club football.
Strategic matters of importance, including the future of UEFA Club Competitions and the strategy process for the UEFA Club Competitions SA, a subsidiary company of UEFA which advises and makes recommendations on the competitions' business matters, will all be addressed. Furthermore, discussions around the FIFA International Match Calendar, as well as an update on the task force looking into the future of FIFA competitions will be covered.
The Board will also elect a new ECA representative as a member of the UEFA Executive Committee.
No media activities are planned following the meeting.
