ECA Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge was invited to speak at the "Football Talks" Conference in Lisbon.
During his presentation, which was entitled "Football Governance & Organisation", Karl-Heinz Rummenigge described the status quo of the governance model in international football and outlined the European Club Association's position on this matter calling for governance structures to be democratic and transparent. He stressed that the involvement of all football stakeholders in the decision-making process is paramount.
"Football Talks" is an event organised by the Portuguese League and brings together key figures from the international football world to discuss ideas in relation to the future of professional football.
