Following a proposal by Club Brugge KV Chairman Bart Verhaeghe, the entire Board of Directors of the Belgian ECA Ordinary Member, including the club's Honorary Chairman and FIFA ExCo Member Michel D'Hooghe, visited the ECA Headquarters in Nyon today. The club's first ECA visit was part of a trip during which they also passed by both UEFA and FIFA premises.
The ECA Administration took the time to outline the association's purposes and engaged in some interesting discussions on topics including Financial Fair Play and the future of professional club football. The discussions proved very lively and both parties agreed that such discussion session was extremely useful to understand each other's perspective on topical issues.
ECA General Secretary Michele Centenaro thanked Bart Verhaeghe for the idea to bring the club's board to Nyon and emphasised that ECA's doors are always open for its member clubs.
