Biography

Ingrid Vanherle (Bilzen, August 5, 1970) is a former Belgian professional football player. She played in the Female national first division football league from 1985 to 2010. Ingrid played also, more than 10 years, for the Belgian National Team.

After concluding her successful career as a professional player, Ingrid went on to make significant contributions to the sport in various leadership roles. She served as the General Manager of the Women’s BeNe League from 2012 to 2015. During this time, she oversaw the cross-border competition of top women’s football in Belgium and the Netherlands in collaboration with UEFA.

From July 2015 until September 2022, she held the position of Operational Director at the Robert Louis-Dreyfus Academy (now SL16 Football Campus) of Standard de Liège. In this role, she was responsible for the functioning of the training center and worked closely with the sports director to ensure perfect organization in terms of program planning, contacting and liaising with agents, and contract negotiation.

As of 2022, she serves as the General Director of Standard de Liège’s Women’s Football and External Affairs Director. In addition, she holds the position of General Director of Futsal (men).
